HIGH-DUTY POLYESTER YARN

Polyester yarns with the following properties are available: high modulus (HM), high tensile (HT) and super low-shrinking polyester yarns (SLS). These products have taken a leading position in many industries.

Polyester yarns have become simply irreplaceable in various industrial fields. They are made by compounding several substances such as terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol and dihydric alcohol. PE filaments and fibers occupy one of the leading places among all chemical fibers.

Scope of application

APPLICATIONS:
High tensile polyester yarns (HT) - production of technical fabrics, power bands, ropes, slings, geonets
Super low-shrinking polyester yarns (SLS) - varnished and laminated fabric, filter fabric, composite materials, canvas fabric

Advantages:
  • These fibers have higher heat resistance than all natural and most chemical ones. They are able to withstand long-term operation at high temperatures.
  • The PE fibers have lower resistance to abrasion and repeated bending than polyamide fibers and the higher impact strength.
  • The fibers demonstrate high elasticity and low hygroscopic properties. In the wet state, their mechanical properties (strength, elongation, wrinkle recovery) remain virtually unchanged. It allows to use PE fibers for producing items which retain their shape
