Drainage Composite

Ultrastab Drainage Composite is designed to provide drainage and perform additional functions (filtering, separating, protection, reinforcing) in various construction areas, including in particular transport (road, railway, airfield) construction, hydraulic engineering, pipework routing and arrangement of sites for various purposes. It is a highly efficient and economical alternative to traditional drainage systems.

Types of Ultrastab Drainage Composites:
2D is a biaxial geogrid with non-woven geotextile on one or both sides with / without a waterproofing layer formed by HDPE / LDPE / LLDPE geomembrane
3D is a triaxial geogrid with non-woven geotextile on one or both sides with / without a waterproofing layer formed by HDPE / LDPE / LLDPE geomembrane

Scope of application

APPLICATIONS:
  • Performing construction works to arrange bed drainage of highways and railways, solid household and municipal waste landfills, oil and gas facilities, airfields or dredging sites and also to strengthen slopes, scarps, earth cuts and trenches.
  • Drainage and outfall systems for roads, tunnels and underground areas of buildings and structures
  • Frost boil reducing
  • Underdrainage
  • Bed gas down-take during the reclamation of landfills and waste disposal sites
  • Regulation of temperature and humidity conditions during construction in complex engineering and geological conditions
  • Anti-filtration screen of hydraulic structures, solid household and municipal waste landfills
  • Engineering of heap leaching sites, petroleum products and drilling waste storages
  • Accessible roofs waterproofing

ADVANTAGES:
• High chemical resistance
• High drainage factor
• One roll of drainage geocomposite can replace up to 25 tons of ballast
• Retains its properties under high loads
• Ease of installation by workers
• Resistance to aggressive environments
• Environmental performance
• Can be used at temperatures from -60ºC to +60ºC

Conditional designation

IDENTIFICATION CODE EXAMPLE: Ultrastab Drainage Composite of 3D-2/200-M1.5 type, Standard 46487778-007-2021, where:
• Ultrastab is a drainage composite brand
• 3D is the three-dimensional triaxial geogrid identification
• 2/200 means two layers of non-woven material with 200 g/m2 density
• M1.5 means the geomembrane with 1.5-mm thickness
